Core Responsibilities Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop, manage, and optimize detailed production schedules aligned with luxury villa project timelines.
- Coordinate workflow across machining, assembly, finishing, and installation preparation departments.
- Anticipate project bottlenecks and proactively adjust schedules to maintain seamless delivery.
- Lead and supervise carpenters, machinists, finishers, and support teams within a high‑precision workshop environment.
- Allocate manpower, materials, and machinery to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Ensure all staff follow best practices for craftsmanship expected in luxury residential projects.
- Review and interpret detailed shop drawings, AutoCAD files, and BOQs for bespoke joinery items.
- Provide clear fabrication guidance and resolve complex technical challenges during production.
- Ensure feasibility of design intent while maintaining structural integrity and aesthetic excellence.
- Implement rigorous QC procedures from raw material inspection to final finishing.
- Guarantee all joinery items meet luxury villa standards, client specifications, and high‑end aesthetic expectations.
- Conduct final inspections before dispatch to ensure flawless installation readiness.
- Monitor production costs, material usage, and workshop efficiency.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising craftsmanship or material quality.
- Oversee inventory levels, procurement coordination, and supplier performance.
- Enforce HSE regulations and maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop environment.
- Conduct regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and staff training sessions.
- Ensure all joinery products and processes comply with relevant government and municipal regulations.
- Maintain awareness of accreditation requirements such as:
- Municipality and building authority standards
- Fire‑rated material certifications
- Sustainability and environmental compliance
- Coordinate with consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies to secure necessary approvals for production and installation.
- 10+ years in joinery or interior fit‑out manufacturing, preferably within luxury villa or high‑end residential projects.
- Minimum 8+ years in a senior supervisory, production lead, or factory management role.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery including CNC routers, panel saws, edge‑banders, and finishing equipment.
- Expertise in premium materials such as solid wood, MDF, veneers, laminates, natural timber finishes, and high‑gloss or matte finishing systems.
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams, mentor staff, and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Strong coordination with designers, project managers, procurement teams, and site installation teams.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.
- Familiarity with ERP systems for production tracking, reporting, and workflow optimization.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills for audits, QC, and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Additional certifications in project management, lean manufacturing, CNC operations, or quality management are an advantage.
- Willing to work 6 times a week, DIP2 location.
