Role responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic and operational leadership for all factory activities, ensuring full compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Plan, direct, and control joinery and fit-out production operations to achieve on-time, on-budget, and high-quality project delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop factory management, supervisors, and production teams to build a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, engineers, and senior management to align factory output with project and business requirements.
- Oversee procurement strategy, inventory management, and vendor relationships for timber, hardware, finishes, machinery, and consumables.
- Ensure optimal utilization, maintenance, and continuous improvement of machinery, equipment, and CNC operations.
- Review and approve shop drawings, fabrication drawings, material specifications, and production methods to ensure technical accuracy and constructability.
- Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, craftsmanship, lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and cost control.
- Establish and monitor factory KPIs, production schedules, and performance reports to support informed decision-making.
- Identify operational risks and proactively implement corrective and preventive actions
