ResponsibilitiesOversee the entire production process to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of gypsum board;
Implement and monitor production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets;
Ensure all production activities comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and quality standards.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of blue-collar workers and engineers;
Foster a positive and productive work environment;
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and development opportunities.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization;
Utilize best-in-class production techniques and systems;
Monitor KPIs and use data-driven insights.
Ensure all products meet established quality standards;
Implement and maintain quality control procedures;
Address quality issues promptly.
Enforce health and safety regulations;
Conduct safety audits and risk assessments;
Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations.
Manage resources including manpower, materials, and equipment;
Coordinate with supply chain and logistics;
Oversee maintenance schedules and equipment condition.
Align production planning with customer demand and inventory targets;
Monitor inventory levels;
Implement inventory management best practices.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives;
Monitor KPIs and drive process improvements.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, production/manufacturing or related field.
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in production management in the plasterboard, cement, or insulation industry.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of blue-collar workers and engineers.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production technology and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and tools.
- Commitment to health and safety standards.
- Fluency in French, both written and spoken;
English is an asset.
