Inspection & Diagnosis- Isolate pump electrically and hydraulically.
- Conduct detailed inspection of pump, motor, bearings, coupling, impeller, and mechanical seal.
- Verify root cause of failure and confirm repair strategy.
- Carefully dismantle pump and motor assembly.
- Remove defective bearings and worn components.
- Inspect shaft, bearing housing, impeller, casing, and motor condition.
- Replace bearings with premium grade SKF / NSK / FAG or OEM equivalent.
- Replace mechanical seal if signs of wear or leakage are observed.
- Replace gaskets, grease, and consumables.
- Rectify minor wear or alignment issues.
- Clean pump internals and remove debris.
- Check impeller condition and rotation.
- Perform lubrication using high temperature bearing grease.
- Tighten foundation bolts and inspect base frame.
- Reassemble pump with new components.
- Perform coupling alignment (laser or dial gauge).
- Ensure vibration within acceptable limits.
