Production Manager; Apparel & Garment Manufacturing

• Take complete ownership of the production lifecycle — from design approval to final delivery.
• Plan, schedule, and execute production timelines to ensure on-time completion of collections.
• Ensure production targets are met without compromising on quality or craftsmanship.

Design Translation & Execution

• Clearly explain designs, measurements, construction details, and finishing requirements to masters, cutters, and tailors.
• Ensure design intent, fit, and detailing are executed exactly as planned.
• Work closely with the design team to resolve technical or production-related challenges.
• Coordinate with local and international vendors for fabrics, trims, and materials.
• Manage sourcing timelines, follow-ups, and deliveries.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistency and reliability.

Workshop & Team Oversight

• Oversee daily operations of the production unit/workshops.
• Allocate work efficiently across masters, tailors, and cutters.
• Monitor productivity, workflow, and workmanship on a daily basis.

Quality Control

• Implement and monitor quality standards at every stage of production.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure fit, finishing, stitching, and fabric handling meet brand expectations.
• Identify issues early and take corrective action to avoid delays or rework.

Production Planning & Reporting

• Create production schedules and track progress against deadlines.
• Maintain clear documentation for styles, quantities, and timelines.
• Provide regular updates on production status, challenges, and resolutions.
• Handle tight deadlines, last-minute changes, and production challenges calmly and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot issues related to fabric delays, manpower, or construction problems.
• Ensure smooth execution during high-pressure launch or delivery periods.
