Job Purpose
Improve manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high‑quality output, while actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce costs.
Key Accountability AreasProduction Planning and Coordination:
- Plan and coordinate daily production processes to ensure the consistent delivery of high‑quality products.
- Monitor and control Production Work in Progress (WIP) and sub‑store inventory.
Process Improvement:
- Lead efforts to improve processes, optimizing equipment and materials for increased production efficiency.
Engineering Support:
- Provide essential engineering support for production and maintenance activities to maintain operational efficiency.
Production Evaluation and Recommendations:
- Assess ongoing production activities and offer recommendations for improvements.
- Investigate issues, identify root causes, and suggest effective solutions.
Cost Reduction and Quality Standards:
- Implement initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining high‑quality standards.
- Develop clear operating instructions and equipment specifications for streamlined production.
Training and Development:
- Provide training and guidance to team members, supporting their growth and contributing to production goals.
Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:
- Formulate and implement best practices to enhance production capacity, quality, and reliability.
- Participate in 5S processes and procedures, collaborating with the safety in‑charge.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on product specifications, engineering technology, and the latest production processes.
HR Proficiency:
- Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.
- Have a vision and a plan for the career path.
Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.
Problem‑Solving:
- Solve any related problems that arise and elevate any complex operational issues.
Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes.
Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well‑defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.
Compliance:
- Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions.
Health, Safety, and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high‑quality products/services.
Academic
Qualification:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Work Experience:
4 to 6 years.
Technical / Functional
Competencies:
Production Planning, Production Scheduling.
