Overview
To lead and manage end-to-end sourcing and production operations by building efficient supplier networks, optimising costs, and ensuring timely, high-quality product delivery. The role focuses on bridging design, sourcing, and manufacturing to create a seamless and scalable supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Provide end-to-end sourcing and production consultancy to support product development and supply chain optimisation.
- Source and develop reliable manufacturers and suppliers across India and China, ensuring quality standards, cost efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
- Manage production planning including sampling, vendor coordination, price negotiations, and MOQ finalisation.
- Work closely with designers to translate concepts into production-ready products while maintaining quality and design intent.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure a seamless production flow from development to final delivery.
- Oversee production timelines, delivery schedules, and quality control processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Support product costing through detailed cost breakdown analysis and negotiate pricing with suppliers to optimise margins.
- Ensure strong compliance with labelling requirements and maintain knowledge of industry standards.
- Handle shipping documentation including customs processes, invoices, and related compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in production management, sourcing, or supply chain within a relevant industry (fashion/lifestyle/manufacturing preferred).
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in production, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably within fashion, lifestyle, or manufacturing industries.
- Strong vendor network and sourcing expertise in India and China.
- Solid understanding of production cycles, sampling processes, and supplier management.
- Hands‑on experience with shipping, customs, and documentation (invoices, logistics coordination).
- Strong knowledge of labelling standards and quality compliance.
- Excellent negotiation and cost management skills.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with designers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Flexible and willing to travel as required.
- Strong organisational and project management abilities
- Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Management, Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
