Responsibilities

• Read first and third angle drawings, process sheet, tooling, cutting knowledge, calculation trigonometry, 3D machining, 2D program execution, 3 jaws true chuck, 4 axis machine lifting techniques, API ring groove gauge, 4 axis milling, 6A API ring grooves operator inspection report.
• Job identification, log book, program backup, tolerance cutting job, threading cycles.

• Strong knowledge of Mazak, FANUC, Siemens and Fadal machining centers.
• Knowledge of metal forming steel and mild steel.
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D CNC programming, Master CAM.
• Knowledge of CAM programming.
• Good machine maintenance practices.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and program accordingly.
• Excellent print reading skills.
• Familiarity with GD&T tolerances on manufacturing prints and interpreting them.
• Knowledge of API thread codes, G‑code, M‑code.
• Education:
  
  High school. Preferably ITI qualified or equivalent vocational training. ITI with minimum 3 years of experience or non‑ITI with more than 8 years as a turner.
• Experience using measurement and quality control devices, including gauges, micrometers, calipers and other inspection devices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job orders.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
• Physical endurance – able to stand for long hours.
• Team player, punctual, attention to detail.
