Production Manger - Ship Repairs

Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Control
  :
  Create production schedules, manage workflow to meet deadlines and specifications, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Quality Assurance
  :
  Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure projects meet company and customer requirements.
• Budget & Cost Management
  :
  Develop and manage production budgets, estimate costs, and implement measures to control expenses and improve profitability.
• Staff Management
  :
  Supervise, motivate, and train production staff, assigning tasks and evaluating performance to ensure an efficient and productive team.
• Resource & Inventory Management
  :
  Determine and secure necessary resources including raw materials, equipment, and workforce, and oversee inventory levels.
• Equipment Maintenance
  :
  Organize routine maintenance and troubleshooting for production machinery and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
• Health & Safety
  :
  Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and foster a safe work environment for all personnel.
• Process Improvement
  :
  Identify opportunities to enhance production processes, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency and productivity.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration
  :
  Work with other departments such as engineering, logistics, and sales to coordinate activities and ensure a smooth flow of operations.
• Reporting
  :
  Track key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare performance reports, and communicate progress and issues to upper management.

Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field, with a strong foundation in ship repair processes.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in project management within the ship repair or maritime industry, showcasing a proven track record.
