Asst. Manager; Production

Responsibilities

• Handle complete lubricant filling operations for multiple filling lines
• Manage and monitor production activities of 2 shifts effectively
• Ensure achievement of daily production targets with minimum downtime
• Coordinate with blending, maintenance, warehouse, QA QC, and dispatch teams for smooth operations
• Ensure proper machine utilization, line efficiency, and housekeeping standards
• Monitor product quality, filling accuracy, and packing standards
• Supervise operators, helpers, and shift staff efficiently
• Ensure smooth shift handover and proper production reporting
• Allocate manpower as per production planning and operational priorities
• Maintain discipline, teamwork, and productivity within the department
• Perform production-related SAP entries and maintain production records
• Monitor material consumption, production output, and stock movement through SAP
• Prepare daily production reports, downtime reports, and shift reports
• Provide proper operational training to production staff and operators
• Train the team on SOPs, safety procedures, quality standards, and machine operations
• Develop a positive and team-oriented work culture
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE compliance on the shop floor
• Follow company quality standards (ISO procedures) and operational guidelines
• Maintain safe and clean working conditions in the production area

• Minimum 5 8 years of experience in lubricant filling / production operations
• Experience in handling lubricant filling lines and production manpower
• Good knowledge of SAP for production and inventory activities
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Ability to handle production operations independently across 2 shifts
• Must be a team player with good training capability
