Responsibilities

Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on AAC production machinery and equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including batching systems, mixers, cutting machines, conveyors, autoclaves, compressors, pumps, and material handling systems. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability. Respond promptly to equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.

Assist in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and production lines. Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce maintenance costs. Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and equipment history documentation. Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, safety procedures, and UAE regulatory requirements. Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities efficiently. Monitor spare parts availability and recommend inventory replenishment when required.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and reliability‑centered maintenance programs.

Qualifications
  • Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience in AAC manufacturing, cement products, concrete products, building materials, or heavy industrial production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical systems, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical controls.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of PLC‑controlled equipment and automation systems is an advantage.
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills are preferred.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
  • Good communication skills.
