Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding and priming to ensure a smooth finish. Mix and match paint colors according to specifications ensuring the correct shade and consistency. Apply paint using various techniques such as spraying, rolling and brushing ensuring even coverage. Inspect finished surfaces for quality, identifying and correcting any imperfections or inconsistencies.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in spray painting is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a spray painting role or similar position. Proficient in the use of spray painting equipment and tools, including airless and HVLP sprayers. Strong understanding of different paint types, their applications, and drying times.
