Manager – Chassis Assembly

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily chassis assembly operations to meet production schedules and targets.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, engineering specifications, and safety regulations.
• Optimize assembly processes using lean manufacturing techniques to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Monitor KPIs such as cycle time, defect rates, and equipment efficiency.
• Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure availability of materials and components.
• Supervise, train, and develop assembly line staff and team leaders.
• Identify process bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and Six Sigma.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports on production performance and present them to senior management.

• Strong knowledge of chassis systems and automotive assembly processes.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Problem‑solving and analytical thinking.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5–10+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Certifications in Lean / Six Sigma (preferred).
