Production Manager: Fmcg: Bakery

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to join our dynamic team within the bakery division of an established FMCG company based in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on production leadership experience, extensive knowledge in bakery manufacturing, and a strong understanding of UAE-based FMCG operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day bakery production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
• Plan and coordinate production schedules, workforce allocation, and inventory management to ensure timely delivery deadlines are met.
• Implement and monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and other food safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and internal quality control systems.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional production team to enhance productivity and morale.
• Analyse production data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Liaise with procurement, logistics, maintenance, and QA teams to streamline production flow.
• Manage operational costs and optimise resources to meet performance and budgetary targets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 6–7 years of production management experience, with a minimum of 4 years in the FMCG industry within the UAE (Bakery/Food Manufacturing is a must).
• Strong knowledge of food production machinery, raw material handling, and packaging operations.
• Proven leadership with the ability to manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of local labour laws, HSE, and sustainability practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP or similar).
