The R&D Associate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day functions of the R&D team. The incumbent conducts R&D trials, tasting sessions, and presentations of existing and under development samples to the technical team as per the R&D plans. The role requires a strong background in manufacturing and deep knowledge of meat products processing.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to the SOPs given by the company related to the R&D process.
- Learn about all the in-house recipes and functioning of the equipment in the test kitchen as well as the manufacturing facility.
- Cook samples and competitor samples for internal analysis and presentations.
- Evaluate food products to ensure the quality standards are consistently attained.
- Operate a variety of kitchen appliances and instruments including bowl chopper, grinder, tumbler, fryer, knives, etc.
- Maintain all ingredients and supplier data for analysis as per company requirements.
- Maintain high standards for sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in the innovation kitchen.
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in R&D or Meat Processing.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Basic English written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic sensory analysis skills.
- Knowledge about the products and its processing steps.
