The primary objective of this role is to drive sales growth by creating demand for our products and enhancing the overall customer experience through business process improvement within the Digital DP World and Dubai Trade BU. The person will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our business by gaining deep insights into customer needs and preferences, allowing us to develop tailored offerings and innovative products that meet market demands.
Additionally, this role will focus on differentiating our solutions from competitors by developing compelling content that effectively communicates the unique benefits of our offerings.
- Develop own, and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and plans to increase product demand and sales, aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, translating insights into clear product positioning, value propositions, and actionable growth strategies
- Lead the development and launch of new products, working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, designers, and sales teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between marketing and product development activities, ensuring consistent messaging and seamless customer experiences.
- Communicate cycle of product development incremental improvements and new initiatives to align planning and execution with all essential business units across the organisation
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, product performance, and customer satisfaction by also defining timelines and roadmap for product development releases and launch of new product.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to assess and optimize marketing campaigns, product offerings, and customer journeys to achieve maximum impact and ROI and in leveraging scientific, data-driven approaches to support product development decisions
- Identify and explore new market opportunities and emerging trends, providing recommendations for product enhancements and new product development.
- Oversee the creation of persuasive marketing content, including sales collateral, product presentations, website content, and other promotional materials.
- Create a go-to-market approach for Digital products and services; including definition of Customer Segments, Channel strategy and Customer Relationships. Provide recommendations on marketing mix to widen the market appeal and increase the competitiveness of offerings. Iterate and update our understanding of customers' needs and our go-to-market approach
- Develop content that reflects the brand identity and can be used in corporate presentations, websites and company publications. Improve the brand value and attract new customers by demonstrating a clear understanding of their needs and our organization’s ability to serve them in the most effective way
- Manage and mentor a team of marketing and product development professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate closely with product management teams to understand product features, benefits, and differentiation, translating them into compelling marketing messages.
- Leverage digital channels to enhance brand visibility and engagement, and to drive product awareness and sales.
- Own and manage the Business Unit’s participation in key regional and international industry events, forums, and conferences, including planning, positioning, content development, stakeholder engagement, and post-event value realization, to support product promotion, thought leadership, and market positioning.
- Lead and coordinate award submissions, industry recognitions, and benchmarking initiatives, working with internal teams to position digital products and innovations for regional and global awards aligned with business priorities.
