Seddiqi Holding is a Family-owned and managed company with a unique, diversified portfolio of businesses and brands across numerous sectors. The business includes Ahmed Seddiqi, Seddiqi Properties, Swiss Watch Services and Mizzen.
We are looking for a Senior Corporate Communication Executive who will be responsible for the execution of the internal and external communications strategy and initiatives, which measurably advance the positioning of Seddiqi Holding and its respective entities across relevant platforms and amongst our stakeholders. They are also an integral member of the ESG PMO as we work towards outlining our roadmap for Seddiqi Holding.
The professional will work with the Corporate Marketing and Communications team, primarily the Manager – Corporate Communications, Manager, Head of Marketing & Communications and Senior Group Marketing & Communications Director, executing all business and department requirements in line with the overarching goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic support
- Agency lead/main POC with external PR agencies (local and regional)
- Assist line manager in developing and implementing communication strategies across all business units in Seddiqi Holding
- Contribute to the development of an annual and/or long-term communications plan for Seddiqi Holding and its respective business units (internal and external)
- Support with drafting policies and guidelines for the business
- Execution across key external communications initiatives/deliverables, driving reputation and building awareness for the organisation and its and respective BU’s
- Execution and liaison for key internal communications projects– inclusive of internal stakeholder management and driving employee advocacy
- Outline and build key PR opportunities for the business
- Serve as a key member of the ESG project management office, assisting with communication efforts and ensuring alignment with overall ESG goals.
- The CE also focuses on developing deep expertise in a specific communication areas like influencer marketing.
- Provide operational support to line manager throughout project life cycles, including budgeting, tracking and timeline management.
- Execute an effective PR calendar for the business alongside the corporate PR agency. This includes leading on all press office requests and asset creation
- Execute and maintain quarterly updates of the corporate communications toolkit for each entity across all platforms. This entails assisting with development of documents – including but not limited to FAQs, profiles, corporate presentations etc.
- Execute communications development activities involving approved spokespeople (internal/external opps)
- In-house support for all Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons brands related PR requirements
- Support line manager as the main POC for all external agencies we work with across SH, BUs, and brands in the Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons portfolio
- Lead on reporting for Dubai Watch Week communications. This includes Horology Forum biannual events and ensuring internal and external reports are in order
- Lead POC for local press office during Horology Forum international events
- Support line manager with international press office requirements during Horology Forum international events. This includes but is not limited to press office coordination, logistics and reporting
- Review and revise specific communications assets pertaining to DWW and HF
- Develop and implement a comprehensive influencer marketing strategy aligned with Marcomm and Brand Marketing objectives.
- Manage both organic and paid influencer collaborations, including:
- Sourcing and vetting potential influencers
- Negotiating contracts and fees (paid collaborations only)
- Establishing posting timelines and content guidelines
- Coordinating communication and logistics with influencers
- Monitoring campaign performance and generating reports
- Develop reporting templates and implement BIC practice - this includes sharing monthly internal reports on progress/status updates with key internal stakeholders including other departments, HMC and SGMCD.
