Overview of the Role

The PR Manager role at Al-Futtaim Automotive drives brand reputation, visibility, and credibility across key announcements, launches, and campaigns while supporting executive positioning and media engagement.
What you will do- Manage the PR and communications plan to strengthen brand reputation and visibility across key announcements, launches, and campaigns
- Build and maintain strong relationships with priority journalists, editors, and media outlets to secure consistent earned media opportunities
- Lead press office operations including press releases, media kits, interview coordination, and PR-led content development to ensure consistent messaging
- Manage media test drive programs end‑to‑end to generate high‑quality and relevant coverage
- Deliver executive profiling and thought‑leadership opportunities to support leadership positioning and credibility
- Track, analyze, and report PR performance to optimize activity and improve results over time
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in PR or Corporate Communications are a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in PR and communications, ideally within automotive, luxury, or tech sectors.
- Proven experience managing media relations, press office activity, and PR plans across launches and campaigns.
- Experience coordinating interviews, executive profiling, and developing PR content (press releases, media kits, speeches/quotes).
- Demonstrated ability to manage agencies, external partners, and deliver day‑to‑day operations effectively, including media test drive programs.
- Fluency in English required;
Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage. - Strong media relations skills, storytelling, and PR writing (press releases, statements, Q&A, briefing documents).
- Experience in reputation management and supporting issue/crisis communications with clear message control.
- Proficiency with media monitoring and reporting tools (e.g., Meltwater, CARMA or similar) and confidence building PR performance reports (coverage quality, sentiment, share of voice).
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with attention to detail and fast turnaround execution.
