Job Purpose
Provide strategic leadership, policy direction, and governance for all marketing, branding, media, and corporate communication activities across the Roads and Transport Authority. Ensure a unified institutional identity, effective public engagement, and alignment with Dubai Government communication strategies. Strengthen RTA’s image, promote a sustainable transportation culture, and enhance stakeholder confidence through transparent, timely, and impactful communication.
Roles and Responsibilities- Lead the formulation and implementation of RTA’s overall marketing and corporate communication strategy, ensuring alignment with Dubai Government priorities, RTA’s vision, and institutional objectives.
- Oversee the development, governance, and enhancement of RTA’s corporate identity framework, including brand architecture, naming conventions, and service presentation standards across all institutions.
- Approve and guide the annual marketing and communication plans for RTA institutions and sectors, ensuring consistent brand representation, unified messaging, and alignment with approved identity standards.
- Champion the development of marketing and awareness initiatives that promote the use of public and mass transportation, contributing to Dubai’s sustainability and mobility goals.
- Direct and monitor community awareness programs and campaigns aimed at promoting traffic safety and public understanding of RTA services and initiatives.
- Provide strategic oversight for media, public relations, sponsorship, events, digital marketing, advertising, and corporate social responsibility activities to ensure positive brand reputation and engagement.
- Supervise the planning, production, and execution of RTA’s marketing and promotional campaigns, ensuring coordination with relevant sectors and adherence to institutional identity guidelines.
- Oversee the design, preparation, and publication of traffic awareness materials and the Traffic Safety Magazine (Salama), ensuring quality, relevance, and reach to diverse community segments.
- Ensure RTA’s presence on digital platforms, including internal and external websites and official social media channels, maintaining a strong and interactive digital reputation.
- Direct the management of written, visual, and audio content used across all communication channels, ensuring accuracy, credibility, and cultural appropriateness.
- Oversee communication activities for projects affecting public mobility and traffic, ensuring timely dissemination of information and transparent engagement with the community.
- Establish and monitor communication performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring continuous evaluation of campaigns, media engagement, and public satisfaction.
- Foster a data-driven communication culture, ensuring insights from community feedback, sentiment analysis, and digital engagement are integrated into future strategies.
- Lead the continuous improvement of marketing and communication processes, including policy refinement, digital transformation, and adoption of innovative communication technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Minimum 18 years of work experience in the field.
