The Global Event Director will define, lead, and elevate Huda Beauty’s global events strategy, creating immersive, culturally resonant, brand‑defining experiences that drive awareness, desirability, and commercial impact. This role requires a visionary experiential strategist with deep expertise in high‑scale global events, exceptional operational leadership, and proven success delivering transformative brand moments across markets.
Success in this role depends on a rare blend of creative vision, experiential innovation, agency collaboration, logistical excellence, and global leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Vision- Develop and own a comprehensive global events strategy aligned with brand positioning, integrated marketing, and commercial priorities.
- Establish a global event calendar ensuring cohesion, cultural relevance, and strong market execution.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and the Founder on flagship moments, product launches, and major experiences.
- Lead creative visioning for global shows, brand moments, and immersive experiences, translating Founder direction into best‑in‑class experiential concepts.
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of global and regional events, from concepting, creative design, and pre‑production through execution and post‑event evaluation.
- Oversee all experiential formats, including large‑scale shows, influencer & VIP experiences, retail activations, pop‑ups, masterclasses, and global launch events.
- Ensure every event reflects brand aesthetics, values, and storytelling while delivering a premium guest experience.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (Marketing, Influencer, Social, Product, Commercial) to ensure integrated event planning.
- Manage external partners, including production agencies, creative studios, technical vendors, and talent partners, to ensure flawless delivery.
- Oversee logistics, guest journey, technical production, staging, hospitality, accreditation, rehearsals, and on‑site execution.
- Define event‑specific KPIs such as brand lift, attendance quality, guest satisfaction, content capture output, and ROI.li>
- Provide data‑driven insights to inform continuous improvement of the experiential strategy.
- Prepare detailed post‑event reports for senior leadership, including impact assessment and strategic recommendations.
- Own and manage the global events budget, ensuring strategic investment and cost‑efficiency across all program tiers.
- Lead operational planning, toolkits, templates, and workflows to ensure scale, consistency, and operational excellence across markets.
- Oversee contract negotiations and SOWs with agencies and production partners.
- Ensure all events meet legal, safety, and compliance standards across regions.
- Act as a global leader of the events function, setting standards for creativity, innovation, and execution excellence.
- Partner with regional event leads to ensure alignment, adoption of best practices, and consistent execution in local markets.
- Mentor and develop event talent across the organization, building an agile and high‑performing global experiential team.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Events, Experiential Marketing, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 8+ years of senior experience in global events, experiential marketing, or brand experiences, ideally within beauty, luxury, fashion, or lifestyle.
