We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Communications Manager to lead our brand’s voice and presence in the UAE market. In this role, you will be responsible for formulating the overarching brand communication strategy, bridging the gap between global vision and local relevance. You will lead the creation of brand narratives and manage high-stakes media and influencer relationships to drive brand equity and awareness.
Key Responsibilities Brand Communication Strategy & Objectives- Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute a holistic external communication strategy for the UAE market that aligns with business goals. - Goal Setting & Accountability:
Define clear communication objectives and KPIs for all campaigns; take full ownership of the communication outcomes and ROI. - Narrative Building:
Translate global brand messages into locally relevant stories that resonate with UAE consumers, moving beyond technical specs to craft a premium brand image. - Topic Planning:
Proactively identify industry trends and plan creative communication topics and angles for monthly sustainment and major product launches.
- Product Launch plan Execution:
Lead the external communication and social buzz strategy for new smartphone and AIoT product launches. - Brand Advocacy:
Identify and leverage opportunities for brand storytelling through media interviews, editorial contributions, and strategic partnerships.
- Relationship Excellence:
Maintain and expand a robust network of tech, general, business media and tech influencer in the UAE to ensure consistent brand visibility. - Seeding & Content
Collaboration:
Manage the end-to-end product seeding program, ensuring partners receive devices on time and produce high-quality content that aligns with brand values. - Negotiation:
Handle commercial negotiations and framework agreements with key partners to ensure efficient resource allocation.
- GCC Regional Guidance:
Provide strategic direction and guidance for communication plans across other GCC markets to ensure brand consistency across the region. - Other Brand Matters:
Manage and advise on other brand-related communication matters as required to support the overall business growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in communications or brand marketing, specifically within the Consumer Electronics (Mobile/Tech) industry in the UAE/GCC region. - Proven track record of delivering measurable communication results and driving successful brand campaigns.
Result-Oriented: A self-starter who is motivated by achieving targets and improving brand share of voice (SOV).
Strategic & Analytical Thinker: Ability to draft long-term strategies and demonstrate how communication activities lead to business impact.
Content Savvy: Deep understanding of the UAE digital landscape and the ability to identify content trends that drive brand resonance.
Established Network: Must possess an existing and active database of UAE media contacts and influential voices in the tech space.
Language Mastery: Native-level proficiency in English is mandatory. Arabic proficiency is preferred.
