Snapshot of Your Day

The day involves refining the Sales and Marketing strategy across MENA region for Samsung Home Appliances department, aligning with subsidiaries and securing resources. Product life cycles are managed through supply chain data analysis, ensuring successful launches and sales performance. Efforts to enhance Samsung's (Home Appliances) brand positioning are driven by market insights, leading to effective marketing initiatives.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Analyzing the market environment, sales trends and competitors’ products
  • Participating in the creation of internal sales targets and preparation of sufficient volume of products for the market (sell-in, sell-out)
  • Cooperating with sales & marketing team and preparing marketing materials for business partners
  • Monitoring market developments and competitors’ products and brands
  • Product mix simulation based on the current situation and future forecasts
  • Conducting market and competitive analyses, ad hoc/market & price analytics; analysis of the market situation to manage and optimize marketing and sales activities
  • Close coordination with internal stakeholders such as marketing, sales (strategy), and retail teams
  • Definition and implementation of new business processes with new sales channels and innovative marketing approaches
  • Preparation of product and marketing presentations as well as business reviews and benchmarks for internal and external purposes
What Will You Need? Essential hard skills:
  • Experience in the area of product management, preferably Home Appliances
  • Experience handling a P&L and delivering profitability
  • Proposition development & execution experience
  • Product Lifecycle management experience with technical proficiency
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation abilities
