Marketing Operations & Events Coordinator

Role Overview:

We seek a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Coordinator to support the Marketing Department’s daily operations. This role involves assisting with reporting, budgeting, event and activation management, data analysis, and stakeholder coordination. The ideal candidate will be organized, have strong communication skills, and be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare correspondence and maintain an organized filing system to support the marketing manager and ensure easy follow-up, record-keeping, and audits by departmental policies and procedures.
• Prepare and issue weekly and monthly reports on footfall, sales analysis, budgeting, forecasts, and any other requested management reports.
• Coordinate the creation of Marketing LPOs and PRs, collaborating with the SMBU Finance team and Marketing Administrators to ensure proper tracking and follow-up.
• Ensure accurate tracking of all marketing expenditures.
• Act as a liaison between the Marketing Team, third-party suppliers, and retailers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This includes handling verbal and written communication and ensuring it meets the company’s professional standards.
• Organize and manage the Marketing Department’s storage area and inventory.
• Follow up with agencies (advertising, social media, PR, etc.) to ensure timely deliverables, report submissions, and financial settlements.
• Provide timely data and reports related to marketing activities for the Marketing Manager to review. This will help resolve issues and facilitate decision-making.
• Assisted in briefing suppliers on events, activations, and ongoing marketing requests.
• Supported the preparation and execution of pre-and post-event campaign activities in collaboration with asset leads and associate managers.
• He helped manage and execute marketing events activations and government-related activities within the mall.
• Collaborate with the Media and Promotions Team tTeamok mall common areas for marketing activities and ensure proper in-mall branding.
• Monitor the promotion redemption process at the Customer Service Desks and maintain accurate prize submission and redemption records.
• Ensure campaign permits are issued and closed properly in alignment with departmental policies.
• Track sponsorship revenues and payments/receivables.
• Contribute to innovative marketing initiatives and events that enhance brand visibility and positioning in the market.
• Work closely with the digital team to deactivate and maintain the mall’s social media presence.
• Ensure compliance with Majid Al Futtaim’s Code of Conduct and departmental and Human Capital policies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in marketing or related fields.
