We are looking for a visionary and execution-focused General Manager to lead the launch and growth of a new digital telco brand in the MENA region. This is a rare opportunity to shape a disruptive, digital-first player from the ground up, combining strategic leadership with hands‑on operational ownership. As the P&L owner, you will be accountable for driving customer acquisition, digital experience, commercial performance, and brand positioning.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Own and execute the end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategy, from pre‑launch planning to commercial scaling.
- Define and drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies to deliver rapid, sustainable growth from launch to post‑launch operations.
- Build and lead high‑performing teams across commercial, marketing, product, customer service and experience, and operations.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking with full P&L accountability.
- Build and manage relationships with external partners (MNOs, technology providers, agencies, regulatory bodies) and internal stakeholders (Circles executive leadership, group functions).
- Manage multi‑channel strategies with a strong digital growth focus, including managing external agency relationships (e.g., media, creative) to ensure marketing planning and execution is aligned with the brand strategy.
- Actively drive continuous CX and digital journey optimization, leveraging data and insights to iterate and improve.
- 20+ years of experience in telecommunications, digital brands, or consumer technology companies, with proven leadership in Tier‑1 markets or Tier‑1 operators.
- Track record of successfully launching and scaling high‑growth consumer brands (B2C), ideally in a digital‑first or disruptive / fast‑growth startup setting.
- Strong command of digital growth levers, including performance marketing, lifecycle management, UX, product innovation.
- Deep understanding of telco economics, customer journeys, and commercial drivers.
- Strong track record managing and influencing partners, stakeholders, and external agencies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to solve complex challenges swiftly.
- Strategic mindset with a builder’s mentality; comfortable working in fast‑paced, zero‑to‑one environments.
- Experience working in or with the MENA region and prior B2C launch experience is strongly preferred.
