Our client in the B2B events and exhibitions industry is looking for an experienced Head of Marketing to lead the strategic marketing direction across a portfolio of large-scale exhibitions, conferences, and trade shows. This role requires a strong marketing leader with proven experience in B2B event marketing, particularly within exhibition organizers, conference producers, or trade show environments.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive visitor acquisition, delegate registrations, and brand visibility across multiple B2B events.
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, partnerships, media, and PR to maximize event reach and engagement.
- Manage and mentor a marketing team, ensuring strong execution and alignment with commercial objectives.
- Collaborate closely with sales, production, and conference teams to support sponsorship, exhibition, and delegate revenue targets.
- Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and market expansion strategies for the event portfolio.
- Track and analyze campaign performance, optimizing marketing activities to maximize ROI and audience growth.
- At least two years of experience in a marketing management position, preferably within B2B events, exhibitions, conferences, or media environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of modern marketing strategies, including audience acquisition, digital marketing, and integrated campaign execution.
- Experience with data-driven marketing approaches, CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and campaign performance analysis.
- Proven experience planning and delivering large-scale, multi-channel marketing initiatives and establishing and managing strategic partnerships while working closely with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, able to produce compelling written content, deliver presentations, and communicate effectively across teams and external partners.
- Leadership and people management capabilities, experience guiding and developing a marketing team.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Analytical mindset, able to interpret marketing data and translate insights into practical strategies that drive audience growth and engagement.
- Creative, proactive, self-motivated, with a strong focus on delivering measurable results.
