What will you be doing?

Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager Advanced Wound Devices and Retail Business, Emerging Markets, the Consumer Manager will focus on the retail business of Advanced Wound Care Across Emerging Markets, acting as a key driver of business expansion in established markets in South-East Asia, while setting the foundation for growth in Middle East, Africa and East Europe.

What will you need to be successful?
  • Lead, in conjunction with the Retail leadership team, the development of brand positions and a scalable brand architecture for our portfolio of retail brands across Emerging Markets.
  • Lead, in conjunction with the Retail leadership team, the development and execution of annual and seasonal business planning processes which facilitate the ability to develop and implement thoughtful, focused, and well-adapted marketing and communication plans in conjunction with the Merchant, Retail Operations, and Corporate Marketing teams.
  • Harmonise solutions across Emerging Market regions, expanding in new markets and optimizing existing resources and use established successful examples in new markets.
  • Partner tightly with the Merchant Team to plan and implement seasonal marketing plans in support of key merchandising strategies and opportunities.
  • Community outreach, relationship building and account management for growing book of businesses of various sizes and industry, non-profits, associations, and events.
  • Maximise core metrics including setting and measuring performance against set KPIs.
  • Collaborate with a diverse customer base selling our products, programs, and services while maintaining and growing profit margins.
Successful candidates would need the following
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (Marketing, Communications, Business).
  • Possess traditional brand management skills such as portfolio management, pricing and competitive analysis.
  • Sound understanding of budgeting, planning, advertising, promotions, community relations, public relations, and sponsor ships.
  • Understanding of Wound Care Therapeutic area with focus on retail aspect of the business.
  • Highly organized and proactive with strong ownership and passion for the brand.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
