About the role

As the Marketing Manager for the UAE market, you will be responsible for building the brand awareness and building the funnel with the goal of bringing good quality leads. This role plays a critical part in developing and executing localized marketing strategies, strengthening brand visibility, managing public relations, supporting dealer marketing activities, and ensuring efficient budget management. The ideal candidate should have strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy and Planning

    Develop and execute marketing strategies and annual marketing plans for the UAE market in alignment with business objectives and Global Marketing Strategic Guidelines.

  • Brand Promotion and Awareness

    Collaborate closely with the Middle East regional Marketing, PR, and Event teams to execute integrated marketing activities across the UAE, including national events, exhibitions, media campaigns, digital marketing, and lifestyle partnerships, to enhance brand awareness and market influence.

  • Public Relations

    Build and maintain strong relationships with local media, press, agencies, KOLs, influencers, and key industry stakeholders in coordination with the PR team to ensure strong brand visibility, positive reputation, and effective storytelling for the brand and products. Handle PR‑related issues and crisis communication promptly and professionally.

  • Dealer Marketing Management

    Supervise dealer marketing plans and local activations across the UAE network. Provide dealers with marketing guidance, campaign support, and performance follow‑up to ensure alignment with brand standards and business objectives.

  • Market Research and Analysis

    Conduct in‑depth market analysis to understand customer trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities within the UAE automotive industry. Evaluate campaign and event performance, generate actionable insights, and continuously optimize marketing effectiveness.

  • Budget Management

    Manage and monitor the marketing budget effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment (ROI) across all marketing activities.

  • Brand Ambassador

    Act as the brand ambassador within the UAE automotive and lifestyle industry, representing the brand at key events, media engagements, and industry networking opportunities.

  • Localization and Compliance Management

    Ensure all dealer websites, retail signage, digital assets, and marketing materials are properly localized for the UAE market, culturally relevant, up to date, and fully compliant with BYD CI guidelines and local regulations.

Your profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing communications, with solid experience in the automotive industry (OEM experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of the UAE market, consumer behavior, and local media landscape.
  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns, PR activities, events, and dealer marketing operations.
  • Customer‑centric mindset aligned with the mission of promoting sustainable mobility and innovation.
  • Fluent in English;
    Arabic language skills would be a strong advantage. Chinese language skills are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across multicultural and cross‑functional teams.
  • Results‑oriented, proactive, and adaptable to a fast‑growing and dynamic business environment.
