Team Description

The Media Solutions team at Wego specializes in delivering innovative advertising solutions that connect top brands and agencies to the right audiences. As part of this team, you will play a vital role in developing and executing impactful media campaigns, leveraging Wego’s platform and media assets to drive client success.

The Role

As Media Sales Manager, you are responsible for supporting the media solutions director and for driving revenue growth for the company. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong communications skills, who is highly motivated, and has a solid understanding of the digital media industry, as well as a proven track record of achieving monthly sales goals.

You will develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will understand clients needs and create customized solutions that help them achieve their marketing objectives using Wego’s range of media solutions.

Core Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth by developing, closing, and scaling a pipeline of successful advertiser accounts to meet sales goals/targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media partners, advertising agencies, vendors, direct clients, and negotiate favorable media rates and placements to achieve best client retention.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings with new/existing direct clients and media agencies and provide a commercial report on the outcomes to evaluate the generated revenue.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts/media agencies and develop new strong relationships with key contacts within the industry.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, case studies, business contracts, and data insights according to internal requirements and clients’ briefs, and deliver other projects as assigned.
  • Identify and execute the ideal solution for each client’s needs to drive successful long‑term partnerships.
  • Help develop best‑in‑class sales materials showcasing the company’s assets including display, video, EDM, social, and other media channels.
  • Collaborate closely with the Ad Operations team and other internal stakeholders on upcoming/active campaigns, creative material approvals, EOC reports and other assignments as required.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, best practices, and new opportunities in media solutions.
  • Stay up‑to‑date on the latest industry trends and advancements in media technology, and make recommendations for new tools and techniques to enhance the company’s media solutions capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities for growth through retention, upselling, and cross‑selling new and existing products.
  • Report on strategic insights, recommendations and new product capabilities to each client on a regular basis with a goal to upsell and seek new revenue opportunities.
  • Provide assistance and support to the Media Solutions Director in driving revenue growth for the company, surpassing established targets, and performing additional tasks as assigned.
Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in media sales with solid knowledge of the digital media landscape preferably within the GCC markets.
  • Strong track record of performance against targets.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in conducting market research and analysis.
  • Deep knowledge of the digital advertising industry with a strong professional network of advertising professionals and agency executives.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media partners and vendors.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Good planning and organizational skills with the ability to deliver assigned projects in a timely manner.
