Position Requirements
Masters,
7+ Years
work experience Essential requirements:
- Western educated, trained and experienced Registered Nurse- with valid professional registration and license from country of origin;
- Registered Nurse specialized in Pediatrics; CPN-Certified Pediatric Nurse
- Pediatric Nursing Certification or equivalent Specialized Certificate in Pediatrics Nursing or training in Pediatrics;
- Post graduate degree ialist training program in Pediatric Nursing/ Pedia Nursing Specialty Certification;
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent Nursing Degree not less than 3 years study duration from accredited program;
- Master´s Degree ee in Nursing, Healthcare, Management, Healthcare Management, Administration or related field;
- Minimum 7-8 years of overall clinical nursing experience ( post-graduation) in a hospital or relevant healthcare setting, whereas currently working for at least 2-3 years as a Pediatric Unit RN Manager or as a SCN/ Senior Charge Nurse
- Pediatrics Unit;
- CPD
- Continuing Professional Development- up-do-date;
- Current- BLS and ACLS certificates; RN certification- relevant to area of specialty preferred;
The ideal Senior Charge Nurse/ Nurse Manager - Pediatrics Unit in order to meet the challenges of this position will need to possess the followings:
