• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their immediate healthcare needs.
• Administer medications and treatments promptly and accurately according to physician orders.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Utilize advanced critical thinking skills to evaluate and prioritize patient care in emergency situations.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic medical record system.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care instructions.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient responses and changes in condition.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff at all times.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental practices and outcomes.
• Ensure swift and effective communication with physicians regarding patient status and needs.
• Mentor and guide junior nursing staff, providing support and promoting professional development.
• Stay current with applicable nursing standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

• Current and valid Registered Nursing license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in emergency department settings.
• Strong assessment skills with the ability to quickly identify patient needs and urgency.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record systems and related healthcare technologies.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
