DHA Licensed Nurse; ER/ICU - Private Hospital
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate DHA Licensed Nurse specializing in ER (Emergency Room) or ICU (Intensive Care Unit) to join a premier private hospital in Dubai. As a critical care professional, you will be on the front lines of patient care, managing life-threatening situations with precision and empathy. This role requires a nurse who can thrive in a high-pressure environment while maintaining the world-class service standards expected in Dubai's private healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities:Critical Care Management:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in unstable or life-threatening conditions, including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.Rapid Response:
Swiftly assess and triage patients in the ER, initiating life-saving interventions and assisting physicians in emergency procedures.Advanced Monitoring:
Operate and interpret data from complex medical equipment such as cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, and arterial lines.Medication Administration:
Safely administer IV medications, blood products, and emergency drugs in strict accordance with hospital protocols.Patient Advocacy:
Act as a liaison between patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary medical team to ensure clear communication during crises.Documentation:
Maintain meticulous electronic health records (EHR) to ensure compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and international accreditation standards (JCI).
Licensure:
Must hold a valid DHA Eligibility Letter or a current DHA License as a Registered Nurse.Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a recognized university.Specialization:
Minimum of 2–3 years of recent experience in a dedicated ER or ICU setting.Certifications:
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) are mandatory. PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) is a plus.Communication:
Flawless verbal and written English. Multilingualism (Arabic, Tagalog, Hindi, or Malayalam) is highly valued in Dubai's multicultural environment.
Equipment Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with ventilators (e.g., Hamilton, Dräger) and cardiac monitoring systems.Systems:
Proficiency in hospital information systems (HIS) and EMR software (e.g., Epic, Cerner).Compliance:
Strong understanding of JCI (Joint Commission International) patient safety goals.
Location:
Dubai, UAE (Central locations like Jumeirah, Healthcare City, or Al Barsha).Schedule:
Rotational shifts (12 hours), including days, nights, and weekends.Compensation:
