Job Description
- Answers phone calls regarding booking or queries related to laser hair removal
- Arranges appointments regarding laser hair removal in collaboration with central booking
- Explains to the patient the laser hair removal procedure
- Performs laser hair removal
- Describes to the patient the skin after care needed after the laser hair removal
- Calls laser hair removal patients to confirm their date and time of hair removal procedure
- Cleans the laser hair removal equipment before and after each hair removal procedure
- Follows up with Biomedical Engineers on maintenance work of hair removal equipment
- Performs face cleaning and Hydra Facial procedure
- Educates patients and their families about health conditions, treatments and preventative measures if applicable
- Conducts initial and ongoing assessments of patient health, including physical examinations, taking vital signs and monitoring symptoms
- Develops, implements, and updates individualized care plans based on patient assessments and in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
- Administers medications and treatments as physicians prescribe and monitors for side effects or adverse reactions
- Provides care for wounds, including cleaning, dressing and monitoring for signs of infection
- Assists physicians and other healthcare professionals during medical procedures and diagnostic tests
- Educates patients and their families about health conditions, treatments and preventive measures
- Observe and record patient conditions, including changes in symptoms or behaviors and report any significant changes to the medical team
- Responds to medical emergencies and provides immediate care as needed
- Conducts purposeful rounding for patients to ensure their needs are met, prevent complications and improve overall care quality
- Adheres to strict infection control standards, including hand hygiene, personal protective equipment (PPE) use and proper handling of hazardous materials
- Participates in infection control surveillance and reporting to help prevent facility-acquired infection
- Maintains the cleanliness of patient items and equipment as per Fakeeh Care policies
- Follows established protocols for different emergencies (e.g. codes and RRT) ensuring patient safety and effective response
- Innovates in patient care and implements evidence-based practices to enhance patient outcomes
- Customer skills and personal service oriented
- Strong understanding of aesthetic and skin care
- 2 months on the job training
- Laser hair removal certificate
- License for practice as per the regional health regulatory authority e.g. (SCFHS / DHA)
