Registered Nurses Operating Services

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and sterile before procedures
• Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control policies and procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery and provide appropriate nursing care
• Verify patient identity, surgical site, and procedure details according to established protocols
• Handle count and document surgical instruments, sponges, and supplies accurately
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and within the scope of nursing practice
• Observe and report changes in patients' conditions to the surgical team
• Ensure proper documentation of patient care, surgical procedures, and nursing interventions
• Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative education and support to patients and their families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements

• Bachelor's in Nursing or Equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of continuous nursing experience in UAE or from home country
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Operating Theater
• Previous overseas experience is advantage but not required
