The Maintenance Crew member is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment and for ensuring all turf and landscape areas are maintained in optimal condition. The role contributes to the overall upkeep of the golf course grounds, ensuring a high standard of care for the facilities and environment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Equipment Operation:
- Operate equipment assigned by the supervisor, following all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Ensure assigned equipment undergoes scheduled maintenance.
- Report any abnormalities or issues noticed in the equipment to the supervisor for repairs.
- Cleaning and Care:
- Perform routine cleaning of the equipment, including washing after use, refueling, and degreasing when necessary.
- Other Duties:
- Perform additional tasks as required by the Course Foreman to support the golf course maintenance team.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues with equipment.
- Basic knowledge of turf and landscape maintenance.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
