Job purposeThe Executive – Safety, Quality Control, and ISO is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, maintaining quality standards, and implementing ISO requirements for the container conversion business. The role focuses on fostering a culture of safety, ensuring high-quality production, and achieving compliance with industry certifications and standards.
Main tasks and responsibilities Safety Management- Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure compliance with national and international regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Train employees on safety procedures and monitor adherence to safety practices.
- Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee quality checks during various stages of production to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Maintain and enforce quality assurance standards for materials, production processes, and final products.
- Document and resolve non-conformance issues, providing detailed analysis and corrective actions.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001, 14001, or other relevant certifications.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors for certification and re-certification processes.
- Update and maintain ISO documentation, ensuring alignment with operational activities.
- Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, quality control activities, and audit findings.
- Maintain accurate records of safety training, inspections, and certifications.
- Ensure documentation is aligned with company and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure safety and quality standards are integrated into daily operations.
- Provide regular updates to the Manager – Technical and Production on safety, quality, and compliance activities.
- Safety Compliance:
Achieve 100% compliance with safety regulations and zero safety incidents. (Weightage: 25%) - Quality Standards Adherence:
Ensure 98% of products meet or exceed quality standards. (Weightage: 20%) - ISO Certification Maintenance:
Successfully maintain ISO certifications with zero major non-conformities. (Weightage: 20%) - Incident Response:
Investigate and close all safety incidents within 48 hours of reporting. (Weightage: 15%) - Training Effectiveness:
Conduct at least 4 safety and quality training sessions annually, with 90% employee participation. (Weightage: 10%) - Audit Performance:
Achieve a 90% or higher compliance rate in internal and external audits. (Weightage: 10%)
- External: ISO Certification Bodies, Regulatory Authorities, Safety Equipment Vendors

Manager – Technical and Production, Production Team, HR, Engineering
Education: A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Certifications: NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO Lead Auditor certification is highly preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in quality management systems, safety protocols, and ISO standards.
Language requirementsBackground and experience
ExperienceMinimum 2–3 years of experience in safety, quality control, or ISO implementation, preferably in manufacturing or container conversion industries.
