Job Title – Quality Control Engineer
Location:
Dubai, UAE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused Quality Control Engineer to ensure products and processes meet defined quality standards within an industrial and materials environment. The role involves inspecting materials, monitoring production processes, and implementing quality control systems to maintain consistency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Inspection & Assurance
- Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Ensure all products meet quality standards, specifications, and client requirements.
- Identify defects, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Process Monitoring & Improvement
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Analyze quality data and identify trends or recurring issues.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Testing & Documentation
- Perform quality tests and maintain accurate records of results.
- Prepare inspection reports, quality documentation, and compliance records.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure traceability of materials and processes.
- Compliance & Standards
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain quality management systems (QMS) and procedures.
- Ensure adherence to ISO or relevant quality standards.
- Coordination & Support
- Work closely with production, engineering, and procurement teams.
- Provide technical support related to quality issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers on quality requirements and improvements.
- Support training initiatives related to quality standards and procedures.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare quality reports and present findings to management.
- Track key quality metrics and KPIs.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving product quality.
- Monitor corrective actions and follow up on implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
- 3–6 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance roles.
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or materials-related industries is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes and standards.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Experience with quality tools and testing methods.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
