QA​/QC Inspector - Welding

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced QA/QC Welding Inspector to oversee and coordinate inspection activities across assigned disciplines within The role will ensure all works are executed in compliance with approved procedures, project specifications, and international codes, while providing technical leadership to inspection teams and acting as the primary interface with client representatives.

Inspect the welding procedures.

Review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), procedures, and material certifications.

Conduct audits and inspections to ensure full compliance with Aramco/International standards.

Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance, ensuring timely resolution of non-conformances.

Issue and track NCRs, corrective actions, and follow-ups until closure.

Provide mentoring and technical guidance to junior/multi-disciplined inspectors.

Prepare detailed reports, maintain records, and ensure quality documentation is submitted for final project dossiers.

Act as client focal point for all inspection-related matters during execution and handover stages.

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent).

Aramco-approved Senior Inspector status (discipline-specific CBT/SAP Number highly desirable).

Professional certifications such as AWS-CWI, CSWIP 3.2.

Minimum 07–10 years of QA/QC and inspection experience in oil & gas / pipeline / petrochemical projects, including 5 years in a senior role.

Strong familiarity with Aramco standards, specifications, and international codes.

Advanced knowledge across multiple inspection disciplines.

Strong leadership and supervisory abilities.

Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

High attention to detail, with a proactive problem‑solving approach.

Ability to manage inspection teams and drive compliance under tight schedules.
