Senior QA​/QC Inspector - Welding

Job Description

We are looking for qualified Inspectors to execute discipline‑specific inspection activities for The Inspector will be responsible for ensuring construction, fabrication, and installation works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and international standards, while maintaining strict adherence to quality and safety requirements.

Carry out and lead / supervise inspection for welding or mechanical procedures.

Verify contractor and subcontractor works in line with approved ITPs, procedures, and standards.

Conduct visual checks, dimensional verifications, and quality control tests as required.

Monitor environmental and operational conditions impacting quality during execution.

Prepare daily inspection reports, maintain records, and highlight non‑conformances (NCRs).

Ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed in coordination with QA/QC teams.

Support final acceptance inspections and documentation for project handover.

Liaise with discipline supervisors and client representatives to resolve inspection‑related issues.

Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent).

Relevant certification(s) such as AWS-CWI, CSWIP or equivalent depending on discipline.

Minimum 10–13 years’ inspection experience in oil & gas, pipeline, or petrochemical projects.

Familiarity with Aramco standards and international codes (ASME, API, ISO, IEC, SSPC, ACI, etc.).

Hands‑on knowledge of QA/QC processes, inspection tools, and test methods.

Strong technical expertise within assigned inspection discipline.

Good documentation and reporting skills.

Ability to interpret drawings, codes, and specifications.

Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Detail‑oriented with a proactive quality‑focused mindset.
