Within this segment, Eaton has an opening for a Specialist, Quality Process Engineer. This position is a globally scoped, senior individual contributor within the Post Order Center of Excellence (CoE). This role is accountable for defining, governing, and continuously improving end‑to‑end post‑order process quality across Eaton’s Global Data Center Segment.
What you’ll do- Global Process Quality Ownership: Define, document, and maintain global post‑order process standards for the Global Data Center Segment, ensuring alignment across regions and execution models.
- Process Governance: Establish process governance frameworks, including process ownership, control points, and change management mechanisms.
- Scalable Processes: Ensure processes are designed to be scalable, auditable, and resilient across complex global programs and hyperscale customers.
- Process Performance & Capability: Develop and deploy process capability metrics, leading indicators, and control mechanisms to monitor execution quality.
- Identify Gaps: Identify systemic process gaps, inefficiencies, and failure modes, translating insights into targeted improvement actions.
- Partner with OPEX/PMO/Services: Collaborate with Operational Excellence, PMO, and Services teams to embed quality into daily execution workflows.
- Continuous Improvement & Standardization: Lead cross‑functional initiatives to simplify, standardize, and harmonize post‑order processes across regions.
- Apply Problem‑Solving: Apply structured problem‑solving and continuous improvement methodologies to drive measurable improvements in execution quality, cycle time, and predictability.
- Lessons Learned: Ensure lessons learned and best practices are captured and institutionalized globally.

Collaboration:
Work closely with the Quality Specialist – Assurance & Testing to align process controls with assurance mechanisms and testing strategies. - Collaborative Engagement: Support the Quality Manager – Global Data Center Segment in shaping the overall post‑order quality framework and engage regional teams, factories, and service organizations to ensure global standards are practical, adopted, and sustained.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, operations, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in quality assurance, testing, execution governance, or operational excellence within complex, global environments.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in quality assurance, testing, execution governance, or operational excellence within complex, global environments.
- Demonstrated experience supporting large, engineered solutions, capital projects, or services delivery, ideally within data centers, critical power, infrastructure, or adjacent industries.
- Formal quality or continuous improvement certifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, ISO‑related frameworks).
- Experience working in or leading teams based in the Middle East or other global hubs.
