QA QC Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QA QC policies and standards.
• Review the project‑specific quality plan, inspection and test plans, check‑sheets, method statements and related procedures.
• Implement the Quality Management Control program for the project.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct inspections, audits and testing for materials and workmanship.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and project teams on quality‑related matters.
• Prepare and maintain QA QC documentation and reports.
• Implement corrective actions for non‑conformities.
• Complete necessary documentation to verify the work performed and maintain full control of QA QC documentation.
• Ensure that inspection requests are implemented.
• Ensure that all test reports are verified to meet the contract requirements.
• Ensure all materials delivered to the site are inspected and conform to specified requirements.
• Issue and administer Non‑Conformance Reports, handle customer complaints and field instructions, and ensure follow‑up.
• Report to the Project Manager any deficiencies in the operation of the Quality Management Control System.
• Complete final quality documentation in a presentable manner in accordance with contract conditions.
• Oversee audits of subcontractor Quality Management Systems and coordinate with internal and external client audits.
• Ensure implementation of the planned training programme and provide training requirements for the project.
• Conduct project‑based training as per requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a QA/QC Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, quality systems, and inspection procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage a team and work in a fast‑paced environment.
