Quality Controller Job Description

• Conduct thorough inspections and quality tests on products during and after production to ensure they meet Furchild's standards.
• Review and audit product listings on online platforms to ensure accuracy in product descriptions, images, and specifications, reflecting the actual product quality.
• Continuously monitor production processes to identify and resolve any quality issues, ensuring that both online and physical products are consistently up to standard.
• Identify defects or discrepancies in products, investigate their causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate records of all quality inspections, tests, corrective actions, and audits for tracking purposes and compliance.
• Inspect and verify the quality of raw materials and packaging materials from suppliers to ensure they meet required standards.
• Monitor online customer reviews and feedback, investigating quality-related issues and working with relevant teams to address concerns.
• Work closely with the production, maintenance, and e-commerce teams to ensure consistency in product quality across all platforms and ensure that online listings align with physical product standards.
• Contribute to ongoing efforts to improve product quality and online presentation processes, suggesting improvements based on audits and customer feedback for continuous improvement.
• Assist in the proper implementation and maintenance of BRCGS standard requirements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Control, Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Quality Controller or in a similar role, preferably in a production or food-related industry.
• Familiarity with online product auditing, e-commerce platforms, and product listing standards.
• Experience in BRCGS audits is mandatory
• Certification in Quality Control, Food Safety Management, or a related field
• Proficient in quality control software and tools for tracking and reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies between product listings and actual product quality.
• Experience in the pet nutrition or food production industry, preferable.
• Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and product listing requirements.
