Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Assurance Coordinator shall support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), ISO requirements, and regulatory compliance activities within the pharmaceutical warehouse and distribution operations. The position is responsible for ensuring compliance with MOHAP, EDE, Tatmeen, narcotics regulations, and internal quality procedures while supporting warehouse operations, product release, and shipment activities.
Key Responsibilities Quality Management System- Support implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure compliance with approved SOPs, policies, and quality procedures.
- Support CAPA, deviation, change control, and complaint investigations.
- Maintain quality records, logs, and trackers.
- Conduct routine warehouse inspections to ensure GDP compliance.
- Monitor storage conditions and temperature records.
- Verify product segregation, quarantine, returned goods, and damaged stock management.
- Support warehouse qualification and compliance activities.
- Participate in mock recalls and traceability exercises.
- Ensure compliance with MOHAP/ EDE, Tatmeen, and other applicable UAE regulations.
- Support regulatory inspections and audit readiness activities.
- Maintain regulatory records and support permit-related activities.
- Assist in implementation of regulatory updates and requirements.
- Support review and release of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Verify shipment documentation and temperature monitoring records.
- Support assessment of temperature excursions and product quality incidents.
- Assist in product disposition decisions as assigned by QA Management.
- Support receipt, storage, distribution, and documentation of controlled medicines/narcotics.
- Verify compliance with MOHAP narcotics regulations.
- Maintain controlled drug records and support periodic reconciliations.
- Support compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
- Participate in internal, supplier, customer, and certification audits.
- Follow up on audit findings and corrective actions.
- Conduct GDP and quality-related training sessions.
- Maintain training records and training matrices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality projects.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) – Mandatory.
- Valid UAE Driving License – Mandatory.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in UAE Healthcare sector
- Experience in pharmaceutical distribution and regulatory compliance within the UAE is preferred.
- Good knowledge of GDP, QMS, and pharmaceutical warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of MOHAP/EDE, Tatmeen, and controlled medicine requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Positive attitude, professional conduct, and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
