Inspection Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections on engineering systems and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings, non‑conformities, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and protocols during inspections to protect personnel and property.
• Participate in quality assurance meetings and provide insights based on inspection data to promote continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes that impact inspection processes and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, certifications, and compliance documents for audit readiness.

• Diploma or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering.
• Mandatory certifications in accordance with at least one of the following programs: CSWIP 3.1, BGAS Grade 2 or NACE Level 2, ASNT NDT Level II in MT, PT, UT, RT.
• Strong knowledge of ASME / ASTM standards.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in mechanical QA/QC roles.
• Third‑party inspection experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications.
• Familiarity with measuring and testing equipment and standard QA/QC tools.
• Strong ability to collaborate and find practical resolutions to issues.
• Capable of managing shifting priorities in fast‑paced environments.
