We are looking to recruit a "Consumer & Market Insights (CMI) Manager" for our Fragrance Consumer Products Personal Care Category Development team. You will focus on quantitative research for the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region, encompassing GCC, Levant, Egypt, Sudan, Iran, and Pakistan.
You will report to the Category Director - Personal Care MENA.
Responsibilities Project Management- Identification of methodology for consumer market research studies.
- Commissioning and set up.
- Cost management.
- Management and quality control of the field.
- Management of data analysis.
- Partner with the fragrance Evaluation, Perfumers, Sales, Marketing and Technical teams and work on active and proactive regional and cross‑regional market research projects throughout the fragrance development cycle.
- Provide in-depth interpretation of results to guide fragrance development and selection, and help to build the rationale to support our brief submissions to customers.
- Be the market research expert in direct contact with our customers, to discuss and review CMI strategies, methodologies, and results.
- Discuss and review CMI needs, help draw olfactive hypotheses, discuss test methodologies to produce the most relevant information and present results through olfactive recommendations to internal and external customers.
- Ensure that we store the CMI data centrally and accessible for future reference.
- Collaborate with our Personal Care category teams, to provide CMI leadership and expertise to improve ways of working and support strategic proactive category plans.
- Identify opportunities and gaps in knowledge and translate insights from consumer behaviours to potential fragrance solutions to anticipate future market needs.
- A Bachelor's or University Degree in Marketing, Business Management or a relevant discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant and progressive work experience in quantitative market research, either in the industry or a market research agency environment.
- Additional experience in qualitative market research will be advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience in consumer insights for the fragrance industry or with market research companies focusing on the FMCG/CPG space will be ideal.
- Hands‑on experience with consumer testing techniques, methodologies, design, statistical approaches, and modelling.
- Excellent project management and presentation skills.
- Comfortable in working and collaborating with diverse teams and cultures.
- Proficient in the English language. Knowledge of additional languages like Arabic or French will be an added advantage.
