We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie – Sushi to join our culinary team and support the delivery of exceptional sushi and robata dishes with consistency, quality, and creativity.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and execute sushi, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty rolls to brand standards
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Manage mise en place and daily sushi section operations
- Ensure proper handling and storage of seafood and fresh ingredients
- Support junior chefs and maintain smooth service during high-volume operations
- Follow HACCP and food safety procedures at all times
- Contribute to new menu development and seasonal specials
- Minimum 1 year experience in similar role in premium sushi or Japanese kitchen
- Strong knife skills and technical sushi preparation knowledge
- Experience in high-end or high-volume restaurants
- Good understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Team player with strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Can thrive in a high-volume and highly fast paced kitchen operation
