Overview

As a Store In-Charge, you will lead our store operations, ensuring excellence in every aspect of our fast-paced environment. As part of our team in Store Operations, you will drive operational effectiveness and business growth. You will be the key point of contact for both our staff and customers, ensuring the highest standards of store cleanliness, safety, customer satisfaction, and sales performance.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) standards.
  • Maintain optimal store cleanliness, merchandising displays, and accurate inventory levels.
  • Manage point-of-sale activities including cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Drive sales to achieve monthly targets, KPIs, and contribute to overall business objectives.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop store staff; assign tasks, manage schedules, and ensure performance standards are met.
  • Prepare and present reports, escalate issues as required, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, handle complaints, improve Net Promoter Score (NPS), and ensure excellence in customer experience, including participation in Mystery Shopper programs.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products, brands, and categories to effectively advise customers and maximize sales opportunities.
Must have requirements
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in a similar role or in a comparable retail environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in Operational Excellence: SOPs, HSSE, store cleanliness, inventory control, visual merchandising, POS operations, and cash management.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with experience driving sales, meeting targets, and managing KPIs.
  • Excellent people management skills, including team leadership, reporting, and issue escalation.
  • Proven customer service experience and track record of achieving service excellence.
  • Comprehensive product and category knowledge for effective customer guidance.
  • Outstanding leadership, ownership mindset, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
