Responsibilities
- Develop strategic plans at the department and item level
- Develop assortment plans and strategies that will optimize Online Inventory levels and outline growth opportunities.
- Analyze past seasons planning performance and identify key areas for improvement.
- Carry out an in-depth post season analysis by reviewing product performance, sell through achievements.
- Initiate key measures involving reduction in turnaround time for replenishment.
- Develop markdown analysis, considering the category performance to push sales or to liquidate stocks.
- Plan & Generate "WSSI" open to buy after adjusting sales and Inventory.
- Analyze historic department /category performance and identify missing opportunities for future seasons, plus running the sales through report
- Review geographic store opportunities; Partners with Buying and stores on potential adjustments, to assure availability of preferred stocks per location to decrease loss of sales opportunities
- Partner with store allocator and Retail to analyze opportunities in store performance and recommends changes to achieve stores sales/turn/gross margin goals across assigned areas
- Coordinate with Buyers and Inventory controller, Marketing (Retail) and Visual Merchandising team regarding the season merchandise promotion and highlighting 'In Season' Merchandise
