We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser to ensure excellent in-store execution and brand visibility across assigned retail outlets. This role is responsible for maintaining product availability, shelf presentation, and promotional displays in line with company standards.
The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and experienced in retail merchandising, with strong knowledge of store operations and visual display practices within FMCG or food categories.
Key Responsibilities In-Store Merchandising Execution- Ensure proper shelf stocking, product rotation, and display execution across assigned stores.
- Maintain planogram compliance and brand merchandising guidelines.
- Arrange products for maximum visibility and attractiveness on shelves and displays.
- Set up and maintain secondary displays, promo stands, and seasonal features.
- Ensure correct price tags and shelf labels are placed and updated.
- Monitor stock levels on shelves and in store backrooms.
- Coordinate with store staff and supervisors to replenish stock promptly.
- Report out-of-stock and low-stock situations to the sales team.
- Ensure proper FIFO (First In, First Out) and expiry date control — critical for food and chocolate products.
- Remove damaged or expired products from shelves.
- Execute in-store promotional campaigns and display setups.
- Install POS materials such as wobblers, shelf talkers, banners, and display units.
- Ensure promotional products are correctly displayed and available.
- Support sampling activities and retail activations when required.
- Maintain positive working relationships with store managers and floor staff.
- Coordinate shelf space and display opportunities with store personnel.
- Provide feedback from stores regarding competitor activity and shopper behavior.
- Represent the brand professionally during store visits.
- Submit daily or weekly store visit reports with photos and notes.
- Capture and report competitor pricing, promotions, and display activities.
- Share feedback on display effectiveness and customer response.
- Track merchandising KPIs across assigned outlets.
- High school diploma or diploma in Business or Retail is a plus.
- 2–5 years experience as a merchandiser in FMCG or food distribution.
- Strong understanding of retail merchandising and shelf standards.
- Experience working in modern trade and supermarket chains.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit and able to handle stock movement and display setup.
- Basic reporting and mobile app usage skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage store routes.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
- Basic English required;
Arabic is a plus.
