We are partnering with a confidential client in the premium chocolate and confectionery sector to appoint a highly capable Sales Director to lead their B2C commercial function across the UAE. This role will suit a senior sales leader with strong experience driving consumer-focused growth within premium chocolate brands, particularly those operating their own retail stores and showrooms alongside wider distribution channels.
Position OverviewThe Sales Director will oversee the company’s consumer sales strategy, ensuring the brand achieves exceptional market penetration, retail excellence, and revenue growth across owned boutiques, showrooms, and key consumer channels. This includes leading a sizeable commercial and retail sales team, enhancing in-store performance, strengthening brand experience, and shaping strategic initiatives that elevate customer engagement and premium positioning.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute B2C sales strategies that increase market share and strengthen brand presence within the premium chocolate category.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the retail and commercial sales organisation to deliver consistent revenue growth and exceptional in-store execution.
- Drive performance across company-owned boutiques, flagship stores, and showrooms, ensuring best-in‑class customer experience and visual merchandising standards.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with mall operators, retail landlords, and key distribution partners across the UAE.
- Leverage consumer insights, seasonal trends, gifting behaviour, and category performance data to inform commercial and promotional strategies.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless product launches, seasonal campaigns, and inventory optimisation.
- Analyse store performance, footfall conversion, pricing strategy, and promotional effectiveness to maximise profitability.
- Manage sales budgets, revenue forecasting, and performance reporting to senior stakeholders.
- 10+ years of FMCG or confectionery sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior B2C leadership role within premium chocolate or related luxury food brands.
- Proven track record driving growth in brands operating their own retail stores, boutiques, or showrooms within the UAE.
- Strong experience managing multi‑site retail operations and delivering sustained revenue expansion.
- Deep understanding of premium consumer behaviour, gifting cycles, and seasonal demand patterns within the UAE market.
- Demonstrated success in leading large commercial and retail teams.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret consumer, retail, and category performance data.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
