Job Description
The Retail Store Manager is responsible for managing daily store operations, driving sales performance, leading the store team, and delivering excellent customer experience while ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and store KPIs
- Lead, train, motivate, and manage store staff
- Ensure high standards of customer service and handle escalations
- Implement visual merchandising and promotional guidelines
- Monitor stock levels, inventory accuracy, and shrinkage control
- Analyze sales reports and take corrective actions
- Ensure cash handling, POS accuracy, and audit compliance
- Coordinate with head office on staffing, stock, and promotions
- Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and safety standards
- Sales achievement
- Conversion rate
- Average Transaction Value (ATV)
- Units Per Transaction (UPT)
- Stock loss / shrinkage
- Proven experience as a Store Manager in retail
- Strong leadership and people‑management skills
- Sales‑driven with solid understanding of retail KPIs
- Excellent communication and customer‑handling skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
